Over the next several years, marketing will continue to evolve from a series of standalone marketing channels, into a connected ecosystem. Your website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and mobile apps will form a network where each channel communicates with the other tracking prospects and user behavior. Thus, CRM’s will continue to grow in importance, becoming the central marketing repository and data aggregator. The difference will be that far more data will come from other sources such as social media, not just websites.
There are other technologies that will become more prevalent as well. Artificial Intelligence, bots, and predictive software are among them.
